Possum Pad, Deer Den, Chipmunk Crib, & Squirrel Suite
When some folks come to Brown County, it's all
about the shopping.
Considering that Nashville
has approximately 250 shops, it's easy to see why
lots of people want to spend hour upon hour
browsing for the perfect items to take home.
If you're one of those people who want to be right
in the heart of the shopping area, you'll want to
make your reservations for any of these four
conveniently located rooms and suites.
Possum Pad and Deer Den are located on the second floor
of the same building where several shops and
restaurants, and theaters are just a few footsteps away from your door.
Possum Pad is located upstairs and offers guests
a cozy hideaway to rest and relax after a day of
visiting local shops, restaurants, and
galleries.
Hop into the comfy queen bed and
enjoy the electric fireplace and your favorite TV
program.
Morning coffee will be close at hand
from the coffee maker you'll find in your
room.
The adjoining private bath features a
pretty pedestal sink, and standard shower/tub, and toilet.
If, by chance, you are coming to Brown County
with another couple, or your group includes a
bunch of your girlfriends, booking the nearby Deer Den will be very handy.
Just down the hall from Possum Pad, you'll find
that Deer Den is decorated in a safari theme.
A
beautiful cathedral-style wood plank ceiling, and
semi-circular window are a couple of interesting
details you'll enjoy.
Spacious enough for two
queen beds, an electric fireplace, coffee maker,
and cable TV, Deer Den will easily accommodate 4
people. The generous adjoining private bath has
all the necessities for your stay.
Just across the courtyard, in one of Nashville's
oldest and prettiest homes, you will find a
lovely shop on the main floor.
But, climb a
flight of stairs and you'll discover another pair
of attractive guest suites. The smaller one, yet
quite commodious, is called the Chipmunk
Crib.
An old-fashioned look will greet you when
you check in.
Picture a lovely wrought iron bed,
an oriental rug, all done up in a pretty blue and
yellow color scheme and you'll have the Chipmunk
Crib.
Windows look out on to shops located in
the courtyard below and Nashville's street
scenes. Cable TV and a coffee maker will make
you feel right at home, and an adjoining bath is
yours alone.
As mentioned earlier, if you're
traveling with friends or relatives, you can
still be close, but maintain some privacy by
making additional reservations for the quaint
apartment called Squirrel Suite, located just
across the hall from Chipmunk Crib.
Squirrel Suite is a complete apartment that has a
nice living room, separate bedroom & bath plus
its own pint-sized kitchen.
Airy and
light-filled, Squirrel Suite invites you to
lounge around and watch cable TV or read if you
need a break from bargain hunting.
You'll surely
appreciate having a fridge, stove, sink, and
microwave for whipping up an omelet or a couple
of sandwiches for late-night snacking.
Don't
forget that you'll be within walking distance of
lots of things to do....so park your car and bring
your comfortable shoes and you can take advantage
of all downtown Nashville has to offer.
Visit the Brown County Playhouse, Coachlight
Theater, or Lotus Petal Cinema, as all are just a
hop, skip, and a jump away from your
suite.
Deciding which nearby restaurant or
coffee shop to try will be an adventure in itself!
